The Film was Out in the cinemas on the 26 December 2009 (UK). The film has 5 main Genres and these are; Action, Adventure, Crime, Mystery and Thriller. All of these incorporate into making to very on the edge of your seat film.
The main plot of the Film is for Sherlock Holmes (Robert Downey Jr.) and Doctor Watson (Jude Law) to find out what happening in London and is it really Magic or just good tricks by Lord Blackwood (Mark Strong).
In total the film was nominated for 2 Oscars, 14 other nomination’s winning 5 of them.
My Opinion
I think the film one was of the best films I have seen in a long time as it had all the things a good film need Action and Excitement without the added area of the love strain between the main characters then it would be a very different film indeed.
The film has an aura about it as in you walk into the thinking about modern day but as soon as it starts you get whisked away and start to think like a detective.
One of the Best scenes for me was the fight scene in which time slows for Sherlock Holmes and He thinks about the approach that he’s going to take to Knock out him opponent and Win for the money.
